The The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) InfoBase was established by the Congress in 1979 to prescribe uniform principles, standards, and report forms for the federal examination of financial institutions, to make recommendations to promote uniformity in the supervision of financial institutions, and to conduct schools for examiners. The Council has six voting members:
the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC),
the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC),
a Governor of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB),
the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS),
the Chairman of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA),
and the Chairman of the State Liaison Committee.

browser application to view InfoBase HTML pages - Any version number
of Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator above version 4 may
work, but full function of the InfoBase is assured with Internet
Explorer 7.0 or higher. |

Reader 7.0 or higher is recommended to read and/or print the
IT Examination Booklets and the InfoBase resource documents. |

Player 8.0 or higher is needed to view and hear the InfoBase
presentations - Note that your current browser version may include
Flash Player even though the application is not listed in your system's
application menu. The Flash plug-in is part of more recent versions
of both Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator. There are also
printable versions of the presentations available. |
